Location

East of Newquay and only about 4/5 miles from the town centre this 5 star award winning site is well located for the surfing scene in Newquay and the surrounding area. This is a site for luxury caravans, touring and camping.

Cost

The tariff for this camp site is charged per adult or child per night and is excellent value: Adults: £5.05 low season and varies to a max of £9.15 in peak season. Children ages 3-14 are £1.50 in low season varying to a max of £6.05 in high season. Children age 15+ are charged as an adult and under 2s are free. Dogs vary from 4.10 to £5.00 per night. Check out the link above for the full tariff. The cost includes the following: Outdoor Pool; Discounted Rate for Oasis Fun Pools; Club Membership; Entertainment; Children’s Club; Television; Playgrounds. Hendra also offer lots of supersaver breaks, half price weeks, discounts and deals!

Hygiene

An extremely tidy, clean and attractive site. Shower blocks are fantastic, clean and with plenty of showers and basins. Plently of lovely hot water and we didn’t queue all weekend. The only negative point for us was the constant piped local radio station, day and night in the shower blocks.

Friendliness

The staff are always friendly, but being a very large site we think it loses some intimacy.

Facilities

This site is large and there are facilities for everyone, eg; indoor and outdoor swimming pools, family entertainment, bars and restaurant, mini-bowling, amusements, children’s club, fully equipped holiday homes and a large shop. There is a football/recreation field at one end of the site. Dogs are welcome at this site, but their dog exercise area is a joke! The touring pitches are marked out formally, but give you plenty of space for your main tent, car and a pup tent. Not the site for you if you like an intimate, small and friendly camp site, but good value for money, particularly in low season.
